Swiss bank Julius Bayer has released its new ranking. In this, Singapore is at the top as the most expensive city. Singapore remains at this position for the third consecutive year, beating London and Hong Kong. According to Julius Bayer’s Global Wealth and Lifestyle Report 2025 released on Thursday, Singapore is also on top in cars and women’s handbags, while women are second in terms of shoes. In terms of property and healthcare, this city is at number three in the world.
Increasing prices of things in Singapore
The price of business class tickets in airplane for Singapore has increased by 17 percent as compared to a year ago. According to the report of South China Morning Post, there has been an increase of 15.6 percent and 12.1 percent in the prices of bicycle and the fees of private schools respectively. This city is very pleasing to the people coming to the category of HNWI (High Net Worth Individual).
These cities in second and third place
London is second in the list. Here, 26.6 percent in the education of private schools and 29.7 percent in the price of business class flight. Hong Kong is third in the Hong Kong list with an increase of 26.1 percent in the prices of hotels.
Dubai and New York get this position
Julius Bayer said that economic uncertainty, rising interest rates and global luxury of growing geopolitical stress are affecting landscape. It is the only American city to make a place in the list. As far as Latin America is concerned, the ranking of Sao Paulo and Mexico City has declined the most.
