Currently, there are many sequel films lined up in Bollywood for which the audience is eagerly waiting. Meanwhile, the sequel of Aamir Khan’s all-time blockbuster film 3 Idiots has also been confirmed. Many great sequel films are going to be released in the coming time, from ‘3 Idiots 2’, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ to ‘Jaat 2’. The release date of some of these films is also confirmed.
3 idiots 2
Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani are coming together once again for ‘3 Idiots 2’. Pinkvilla quoted sources and wrote – ‘The script has been finalized and the team is very excited for it. He feels that the magic of the first film has returned and it is as fun, emotional and meaningful as the first part. Its story will be a sequel, which will start approximately 15 years after the characters were separated in the climax scene and come together again for a new adventure.
Dhurandhar- Part 2
Ranveer Singh’s gangster-action film ‘Dhurandhar’ is released in theaters on December 5, 2025. As soon as the film was released, the makers announced its sequel. Dhurandhar-Part 2 will be released on March 19 next year on the occasion of Eid. The film will clash with Yash’s film Toxic at the box office.

‘Border 2’, the sequel of the film ‘Border’ released in 1997, is ready for release. This Sunny Deol starrer film will be released in theaters on January 22, 2026. Varush Dhawan, Ahan Shetty and Diljit Dosanjh will also be seen playing important roles in ‘Border 2’.

The audience is eagerly waiting for Ajay Devgan’s comedy franchise ‘Dhamal 4’. The film was earlier scheduled to release on March 19, 2026. But to avoid clash with ‘Dhurandhar – Part 2’, the release date of ‘Dhamal 4’ has been postponed. Now the film may be released in May 2026.

Rani Chatterjee is ready to make a strong comeback on the big screen through ‘Mardaani 3’. His film is going to hit the theaters on 27 February 2026. Janaki Bodiwala will also be seen in this film directed by Abhiraj Meenawala.

Sunny Deol’s film ‘Jatt’ was released this year and it created a stir at the box office. After this the makers confirmed the sequel of the film. While the first part was directed by Gopichand Malineni, now Rajkumar Santoshi will direct the second part. At present the release date of ‘Jaat 2’ has not been revealed.

Emraan Hashmi’s musical-romantic film ‘Awarapan 2’ is one of the most awaited sequels of Bollywood. Made under the direction of Nitin Kakkar, this film is going to be released on 3 April 2026.

Shahid Kapoor is going to be seen as the lead actor in ‘Cocktail 2’. Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna will play the lead actress roles in the film. At present the release date of the film has not been revealed.
