The news of the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Sunday (March 1) has created a stir. Meanwhile, there is a lot of anger among people all over the world. In such a situation, the people of India are now on the streets in support of Ayatollah Khamenei. Meanwhile, a sharp reaction has come from AIMIM leader Asim Waqar in Uttar Pradesh.
Issuing a video statement, Asim Waqar said that ever since he heard the news of Ali Khamenei’s martyrdom. Since then various types of questions have been arising in my mind. He further said that not only Trump and Netanyahu are involved in this but also those people who call themselves Muslims and then got Iran attacked by giving them their airbase and their place.
‘Iran is a Shia country’
Asim Waqar further said that some people also used to say and even today say that Iran is a Shia country. I have a question for those people who have committed this incident by opposing Ali Khamenei by calling him a Shia and supporting his enemies. Asim Waqar asked that if Ali Khamenei is a Shia, and because of this he was a Shia, you people are in opposition, then do you consider Netanyahu and Trump as staunch Sunnis?
He further said that that is why you supported him. Or it should be accepted in front of the world that those people who, despite being Muslims, supported Netanyahu and Trump and got Ali Khamenei martyred. Why shouldn’t I accept those people that they have become Jews and Nasara, or belong to the same race.
My heart is crying- Asim Waqar
He further said that I am questioning you people. My heart is crying right now. We have lost a great community leader, a warrior and an unyielding person. Allah will not forgive us. He further said that it is expected from you people that if someone says that Iran is a Shia country then ask do you consider America and Iran as Sunni countries?
He further said that I salute Syed Ali Khamenei. May Allah give him a high place in heaven. Also, please grant us all the opportunity to follow his path. Let us tell you that not only Shias but all Muslims across the country are strongly protesting against the death of Ali Khamenei and the US-Israel attack on Iran.
