B. Sudarshan Reddy is a former Supreme Court judge. They come from Ranga Reddy district of Telangana. He has given a long judicial service from the High Court to the Supreme Court. Recently, the command of the caste survey committee conducted by the Telangana government was also given to them. B. Sudarshan Reddy has never been directly connected with politics, so the opposition has made them a candidate considering him a fair face.
These judges have also fought the election of President-President
Many former judges have been nominated by different parties for the President and Vice Presidential elections. For example, Justice Hans Raj Khanna was a famous and respected judge of the Supreme Court. He gave a historic verdict in protecting civil rights during the Emergency. In 1982, the Congress made Giani Zail Singh the presidential candidate. In response, 9 opposition parties made Justice Hansraj Khanna their candidate. Although he lost the election, his fair image and loyalty to the constitution are still remembered. Apart from this, Justice B.K. Sudarshan Reddy has been made his joint candidate by India Block in 2025. This step is being seen as an attempt to expose non-political leadership from political parties.
