Later he received education in the boarding school of Mussoorie. Passed 12th exam from there. After this he graduated from BIT Mesra. Took degree in Software Engineering from Ranchi.

Mother died in 2007
Nishant Kumar’s mother Manju Sinha died in 2007. At that time Nishant had clarified that he had no interest in politics. They want to live their life on the path of spirituality. He is the only son of the Chief Minister and despite this, people like Nishant’s simple life.
Till about a year ago, Nishant was rarely seen in public programs. Although he participated in some public programs with his father from 2024 onwards, he did not enter active politics.
