This will cause loss to Pakistan, because losing 2 points will make it difficult for it to move to the next stage.
Broadcasters will suffer losses
The viewership of India and Pakistan matches has been breaking records from time to time, hence it is a source of huge income for the broadcasters. If this match does not take place in the T20 World Cup 2026, the broadcasters will stand to lose the income from sponsors. This will also have a direct impact on ICC.

Both India and Pakistan are in Group A. If this match does not take place, then points can be distributed between both the teams. But for this it is mandatory for both the captains to be on the field at the time of toss, only then both the teams can get one point each.
