Nothing Phone 2A Blast Alleged User Says Company Denied Help Despite Warranty

One person Kava claims that his smartphone allegedly blasted when he was going somewhere by motorcycle. The man also captured the video of the incident and shared it with a YouTuber. The user claims that the phone was completely in the warranty, yet the company did not help him. The handset was in the hands of his wife riding on the bike at that time.

Recently on a YouTube channel named Technical Friends Video Shared, which claimed that a person’s Nothing Phone 2A suddenly blasted and caught fire. The user’s name is told Pradeep and in the video, this user himself is seen telling his story. Pradeep told that he was going to the hospital by bike with his wife. On the way, the phone suddenly started getting hot. A panic, his wife threw the phone. After falling on the road, smoke started coming out of it. Pradeep says that there was a blast in the device, although there was no major accident, the phone was completely burnt.

The person claimed that after this, when he took the phone and went to the service center, he was kept there for about 6 hours. A few days later, the answer was received, “The phone will not be replaced.” Pradeep further explained that the company described it as an out of warranty device, while the phone was allegedly in the cover. The device shown in the video is completely damaged, display, back panels, battery area everything is burnt.

After the video surfaced, tipster Abhishek Yadav has also shared the matter on social media and informed him about the response received by the company on his X post. According to him, Teen of the Nothing Service Center told him that the fire was caused by external damage.
