A big opportunity has come for the youth of the country. If you want to serve the country by joining the Indian Army, then Territorial Army Rally 2025 has brought a great opportunity for you. This time recruitment has been announced for a total of 1529 posts. The special thing is that applications for this recruitment will be taken through offline rally process. The recruitment notification has been published in the employment newspaper from 1 to 7 November 2025.
Both men and women candidates will get a chance to apply for this recruitment. These posts have been filled in different battalions across the country. These include 102 posts in 107 Infantry Battalion (11 Gorkha Rifles), 129 posts in 113 Infantry Battalion (Rajput), 94 posts in 119 Infantry Battalion (Assam), and 134 posts in 121 Infantry Battalion (Garhwal Rifles).
At the same time, in some battalions both men and women will get a chance. These include 437 posts in 164 Infantry Battalion (Home and Hearth Naga), 360 posts in 165 Infantry Battalion (Home and Hearth Assam) and 273 posts in 166 Infantry Battalion (Home and Hearth Assam). Overall, recruitment will be done on 1,529 posts.
This is the eligibility
The eligibility for applying for this recruitment has been decided according to the post. If you have passed 8th class and have at least 33 percent marks in each subject, then you can apply. The condition for 10th pass candidates is that they should have 45 percent marks in total and at least 33 percent marks in each subject. Whereas for 12th pass candidates, at least 60 percent marks in aggregate and 50 percent marks in each subject are required. Especially in subjects like English and Mathematics, Accounts or Book Keeping, 50 percent marks are required. The age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 45 years.
physical fitness
Physical fitness is the most important part of this recruitment. The minimum height of male candidates has been kept at 160 centimeters. However, if the candidates are from north-eastern states like Sikkim, Arunachal, Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram or Ladakh region, then the height of 157 centimeters will also be valid for them. Chest measurement should be 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm or more after expansion.
The minimum height of female candidates has been fixed at 157 centimeters. Whereas candidates coming from North-Eastern states or Gorkha community will get relaxation up to 152 cms. For women, a minimum gap of 5 centimeters in the chest is necessary.

To participate in the rally, candidates will have to bring some important documents with them. These include birth certificate or 10th mark sheet, all educational certificates and mark sheets, residence certificate issued by Tehsildar or DM, caste certificate, character certificate (not older than six months), marriage or unmarried certificate, religion certificate (if applicable) and kinship certificate.
selection process
Selection in Territorial Army recruitment will be done in several stages. First of all the documents of the candidates will be scrutinized. This will be followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PFT), which will include running, push-up and fitness test. Qualified candidates will then have to appear in the written examination. Medical examination of the candidates successful in the written examination will be done. Finally the names of all the successful candidates will be released in the final merit list.

Candidates will have to go to the rally venue of their unit and get themselves registered.
Officials will check the documents of the candidates at the rally venue.
After this the candidates will have to appear in the physical test, medical test and written examination.
The candidates who are successful in all the stages will be included in the final merit list.
