There is important news for the candidates who are dreaming of joining the police in Jammu and Kashmir. Those candidates who could not apply for the constable recruitment which was held recently. Now they can apply till 12th March, earlier the last date to apply for this recruitment was 2nd March. Which has now been extended further. Let us know how candidates can apply for this recruitment.
A total of 669 posts are to be filled through this recruitment in Jammu and Kashmir. Posts like Constable (Armed/IRP), SDRF, Telecommunication and Photographer have been included in these posts. For the post of Constable (Armed/IRP/SDRF), the candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board.
For the post of Constable (Telecommunications), the candidate must have passed 12th and science subject should be there. For the post of Constable (Photographer) it is also mandatory to pass 12th with Science subject. Also, the candidate should have at least 6 months computer course and 2 years experience in photography or videography.
Selection process?
The recruitment process will be completed in several phases. First of all, written examination will be taken. This exam will be objective type, that is, multiple choice questions will be asked. Negative marking will also be applicable in the examination, hence candidates will have to answer thoughtfully.
Candidates who have NCC certificate will also be given additional marks as per the rules. After the written examination, candidates six times the number of vacant posts will be called for the next stage. Candidates successful in the written examination will be called for Physical Standard Test i.e. PST. In this the height and chest measurement of the candidate will be checked. Different standards have been set for each category.
Will have to appear in this exam also
Candidates who pass PST will have to appear in Physical Efficiency Test i.e. PET. There will be tests like long run, push-ups and shot put. The purpose of these tests is to see whether the candidate is physically fit or not.
what will happen next
After being successful in PET, document verification will be done. During this, candidates will have to show all their original certificates. If any kind of wrong information is found, the candidature can be canceled. Medical examination will be done in the final stage. In this, the complete physical and health condition of the candidate will be examined. Only the candidates who pass the medical test will be considered finally selected.
