Now it will be easier for the people of Noida to go to Jewar Airport, this road is being built at a cost of Rs 31 crore.

A big step has been taken towards strengthening the infrastructure in Greater Noida. To ease the traffic system in the city before the operation of Noida International Airport being built in Jewar, the Greater Noida Authority has decided to widen the road from Sirsa Roundabout to Kherli Tiraha. This road, to be built at a cost of Rs 31 crore, will not only improve local traffic but will also prove to be an important link for vehicles going to Secunderabad, Bulandshahr and Delhi.

Both ends of this road are very important strategically. On one hand, this route connects to National Highway-91 in Secunderabad, while on the other hand, it will be easier to reach Noida International Airport directly from Kherli. At present the width of this road is 7.5 meters, which will be increased to 10.5 meters. The authority will soon issue a tender for the road widening work and it is expected that the construction work will also be started from the new year.

Why is widening important?,

This route is already facing heavy traffic pressure. A large part of the vehicles going from Bulandshahr towards Delhi via Parichowk pass through this road. The large number of companies located in the Kasna area and the ever-increasing industrial activities often create traffic jams. In view of these problems, widening of the road has now become extremely necessary.

ACEO of Greater Noida Authority Sumit Yadav said that CRRI has submitted the investigation report of road quality. After the widening, the movement of vehicles coming and going towards Jewar Airport will become quite easy. The tender process will be started soon.

Four lane road and divider plan

According to the plan, the existing two-lane road will be expanded to four lanes. Dividers will also be made in busy areas, due to which the total width of the road will increase by about 1.5 meters. Wider roads will not only reduce traffic pressure but will also improve road safety.

130 Meter road and highway connectivity

This road is connected to 130 meter road and goes to Kherli Tiraha via Surajpur, Parichowk and Kasna. From here, vehicles can easily go towards Secunderabad and further towards Lucknow via National Highway-91.

Traffic will increase after the airport becomes operational

After the opening of Noida International Airport, traffic on this route will increase rapidly. Keeping this in mind, the authority has prepared a plan for road widening in time, so that people do not have to face any kind of inconvenience in future.
