MG Motor India has increased the prices of its popular electric SUV Windsor Ev Pro. After this increase, now its top variant will be available for Essence Pro for Rs 18.31 lakh (ex-showroom), which is expensive by Rs 21,200 before. Its base model starts at Rs 12 lakh. Apart from this, this car can be purchased for Rs 9.99 lakh under the company’s Battery-AS-A-Service (BAAS) scheme, but in this you will have to pay a battery rent of 3.90 per km per km. The company has done this price increase due to the increase in input costs.

How is the interior and design?

• The interior of Mg Windsor Ev Pro has been designed very premium. Its standard variant comes with an all-black theme, while the Pro variant has dual-tone black and ivory theme that makes the cabin more open and premium. It has 64 color ambient lighting, wood -like finishing and rose gold accents which give it a luxury car -like feel. However, to keep the ivory color clean, more attention has to be paid.

Both battery variants get 136 PS power and 200 Nm of torque. This SUV has four different driving modes-Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport, which can be set according to driving style and range. Along with this, a three -level regional braking facility has also been provided, due to which the battery is slightly recharged on applying the brake.
• Talking about charging, it takes about 9.5 hours to charge it from 7.4 kw AC charger. At the same time, it takes only 50 minutes to charge 60 kw DC fast charger from 20% to 80%.
