The police is seriously investigating after detaining a Kashmiri man who was offering namaz in the Ram temple complex in Ayodhya. The security of Ayodhya has also been increased. Now the family of the detained person Abu Ahmed Sheikh has revealed his whereabouts. The family claimed that their father is mentally ill and is undergoing treatment for the last six years. The detained person is a resident of Gadapora village of Shopian district.
The family further said that due to his mental condition, he often moves from one place to another for treatment and care. He has appealed to the authorities to consider the circumstances of the family while dealing with this case. Further investigation is ongoing. Officials have said that more information will be shared after the investigation is completed.
Police forces deployed everywhere in Ayodhya
The security arrangements of Ayodhya have been increased after the arrest of a suspicious youth in Ayodhya. Security was tightened on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Darshan Marg and other areas. Ayodhya CO Ashutosh Tiwari said, “Due to the huge crowd of devotees, the Ayodhya area has been divided into zones and sectors. Police forces have been deployed everywhere. We are monitoring everything with the help of CCTV cameras.”
Police detained a person on information about offering Namaz
Police detained Abu Ahmed Shaikh after receiving information about prayers being offered in the Ayodhya Ram temple complex on Saturday (January 10). After the news of Namaz being offered outside the exit gate, there was panic there. According to sources, the watcher posted in the temple premises had given information about the suspect. Police are scanning the CCTV footage. Interrogation of the arrested person of Kashmiri origin is going on. Police is investigating from every angle. Intelligence agencies and administrative officials are active.
