Ladki Bahin Yojana: Ladki Bahin Yojana is being run for women by the Maharashtra Government. Under this scheme, eligible women are given financial assistance of Rs 1500 every month. Which provides support in important tasks like household expenses, health and children’s education. In recent months, this scheme has not only been a social initiative but has also become a major political issue.

The government was preparing to give advance installments for the months of December and January in January. So that women can get more relief during festivals. But meanwhile BMC elections were announced. After this the State Election Commission banned advance payment. Now the biggest question is that when will the money of Ladki Bahin Yojana come and after what date the amount will be deposited in the accounts of women. Know the answer.

When will women get money?

At present, the advance installment of Ladki Bahin Scheme has been put on hold by the Maharashtra Government. While talking to journalists in Pune, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that his government will completely follow the instructions of the State Election Commission. He said that now the advance installment for the month of January will not be released under the Ladki Bahin Scheme. Earlier, advance payments were made to poor women on major festivals.

But this time due to the implementation of the code of conduct, this will not be possible. According to CM, Rs 1500 received under the scheme will now be deposited in the accounts of women after January 16. Let us tell you that the counting of votes for the elections of 29 municipal corporations of the state is to be held on January 16. No extra or advance payment will be made until this process is completed.

Money stopped due to BMC elections

The Election Commission has clearly stated in its instructions that the old and regular benefits of the scheme will continue. But during the code of conduct, advance payment cannot be given under any circumstances. The Commission had received many complaints in this matter. According to the information, the government was preparing to give the advance installments of December and January together on January 14.

Whereas BMC elections were to be held on January 15. For this reason the Commission put a stay on this decision. Not only this, after the report of the Chief Secretary, the Commission also made it clear that during this period neither new beneficiaries can be added to the scheme nor any new announcement can be made.
