Soon you will be able to visit Shri Banke Bihari Temple located in Vrindavan while sitting at home. The arrangement of ‘live streaming’ of God’s darshan can be started by the temple administration next year. With this, the devotees of Banke Bihari will be able to avail the benefit of darshan of God from their home every day.
The high-powered committee that oversees the affairs of Banke Bihar temple said this. The committee held a meeting on Thursday evening to review the improvements and development plans around the temple. In this meeting, many important things were discussed to bring transparency in all the arrangements and management of the temple.
The piggy bank of the temple will be opened with the help of the bank.
In the meeting, a new method has also been approved to open the piggy bank of the temple from November with the help of a bank. The committee also approved the purchase of cleaning equipment including pressure machines, vacuum cleaners and floor-cleaning machines to improve daily maintenance.
The committee, headed by Justice Ashok Kumar, discussed 15 points, out of which 11 were agreed upon. Justice Kumar said that a firm had been selected for ‘live streaming’ and the service was expected to be launched around Holi next year.
Discussion on removal of encroachment also
The committee also discussed the removal of encroachments near gates number one, two and three of the temple and reviewed the guidelines regarding acquisition of nearby property to improve the facilities for the devotees.
Apart from this, the government’s stand regarding the proposed Banke Bihar Corridor in Vrindavan has also become clear, hence in the committee meeting, the outline of giving compensation to the owners of houses and shops falling under the jurisdiction of corridor construction was discussed in detail. After which the way forward regarding the corridor will soon be clear.
