A cabinet meeting was held in Bihar on Tuesday (January 13) under the chairmanship of CM Nitish Kumar. In Bihar, senior MLAs, ministers, Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker, Legislative Council Chairman and Deputy Chairman will now be able to have two government bungalows each. For the second bungalow, you will have to pay rent of Rs 1700 per month, which is very cheap. The government’s argument is that there are many ministers who are also MLAs and the use of MLA residence is necessary for activities related to their assembly constituency.
