NSUI’s strong performance in Delhi regarding periods leave, know which universities already have this facility

A different atmosphere was seen in the Arts Faculty campus of Delhi University from 10 am today. A large number of students and students gathered under the banner of National Students Union (NSUI). There were placards, banners and posters in the hands.

Why is there a performance?

NSUI says that in many universities of the country, the provision of periods leave for students is already present, but this facility has not been provided in Delhi University and many other big institutions yet. The organization demands that a provision of at least 12 periods leave should be made in every semester, so that the students are not afraid of unnecessary stress, absence and marks in those days.

The students say that it is not easy to attend class between physical pain, fatigue and discomfort during periods. In such a situation, this holiday should not be a special facility but basic rights.

This is the demand

NSUI Delhi has marched at Delhi University and demanded a 12 -day period leave for all the girl students. Women are entitled to respect, health and safety- and we will continue to move forward until every campus ensures this. It has been said by NSUI that if their demands are not taken care of, then this movement will be faster.
