Canadian opening batsman Yuvraj Samra has scored a historic century in the T20 World Cup 2026. In the do-or-die match against New Zealand, he played a brilliant inning of 110 runs in 65 balls, hitting 6 sixes and 11 fours. Yuvraj has become the youngest player to score a century in the history of T20 World Cup.
Canada won the toss and decided to bat first at MA Chidambaram Stadium. There was a century partnership for the first wicket between Yuvraj Samra and captain Dilpreet Bajwa. The team’s first wicket as captain fell on the score of 116. Bajwa scored 36 runs in 39 balls, after which Yuvraj completed his century.
