Shahid Kapoor’s last year’s film ‘Deva’ could not do wonders at the box office. It was expected that the actor’s latest release ‘O Romeo’ would perform well at the box office. After hitting the theatres, it had a good start with a collection of Rs 8.5 crores. After this, a good growth was seen in its collection on the second day and it collected Rs 12.65 crore. But due to the India-Pakistan match on the third day, its whole game got spoiled and there was a huge decline in the earnings of ‘O Romeo’. It could earn only Rs 9 crore. As soon as it entered the weekdays, its collection got a big shock and on the first Monday the film earned Rs 4.75 crores. However, a rise in its earnings was seen on Tuesday.
- According to the early trend report of Sacknilk, ‘O Romeo’ has collected Rs 5.1 crore on the 5th day of its release i.e. Tuesday.
- With this, the total earning of ‘O Romeo’ in 5 days has now become Rs 40 crore.
‘O Romeo’ broke the records of Shahid’s two films
On Tuesday, the 5th day of its release, ‘O Romeo’ again increased its pace and earned well. This film has now entered Shahid’s top 10 films and has defeated the actor’s two films Phata Poster Nikla Hero (Rs 36.37 crore) and Badmaash Company (Rs 34.98 crore).

It has been told in the post that ‘O Romeo’ has earned Rs 61.3 crore worldwide. Its total collection in India was 46.75 crores and the earning of 15 crores from abroad was added to this figure.
