In today’s run -of -the -mill life, people fall prey to many diseases. In such a situation, it has become common to have diabetes problem. Diabetes is a disease in which blood sugar levels in the body are higher than normal. This happens when the body is unable to make a hormone called insulin properly or cannot use it. Insulin helps in converting the sugar present in the blood into energy. It is also called sugar disease. Due to this, fatigue, weakness, lack of injury, skin diseases, urine diseases etc. have to be faced. Obesity is a serious threat to diabetes patients. There are usually two types of diabetes-

Type 1 Diabetes- This happens when the body does not make insulin at all.
Type 2 Diabetes- In this, the body makes insulin low or is unable to use it correctly. By the way, obesity is a major cause of type 2 diabetes. When the body does not use insulin properly, the level of sugar in the blood increases, which can cause diabetes. Obese heart related diseases, stroke, kidney disease increase in people suffering from diabetes.

Measures to control –

  • Exercise- Regular exercise should be done to control diabetes. Also, healthy food should also be eaten.
  • Pay attention to weight loss- Obesity increases in type 2 diabetes. To control it, it is necessary to pay attention to weight loss.
  • Seek doctor’s advice- Diabetes patients should consult a doctor so that the right diet and exercise can be given. So that it can be controlled.
  • Balanced diet- Diabetes patients should eat whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Together, foods with protein like pulses, dry fruits, and seeds should be included in your diet.
  • Enough sleep- Diabetes patients need to get a good sleep of 7 to 8 hours at night. Also, stress should be avoided.
