A 22 -year -old young man who made a video on YouTube on Saturday (August 23, 2025) on the Duduma waterfall in Koraput district of Odisha, was hit by a wave and is now missing. According to some reports, this YouTuber, a resident of Barhampur, has been identified as Sagar Tudu.
The name Sagar Kundu was used on the cover page of the person’s YouTube channel. Sagar was trying to take pictures with a drone camera near the waterfall, when the water level increased and he got stuck in the rocks of water. In the viral video, some people present there tried to save him from the rope, but the flow was so fast that he lost his balance.
Big accident occurred due to deterioration of balance
According to NDTV reports, Sagar’s friend Abhijeet Behera was with him to record videos of several tourist places for his YouTube channel. According to the video, water was released from the Machakunda dam, when the ocean was standing on a rock a few feet away from the safe coast.
According to a report, after heavy rains in Lamtaput area of Koraput, the authorities had alerted the people living in the low -lying areas of the dam, when the ocean got stuck. He could not make his balance for long and was swept away.

Questions raised on security system
