On New Year, Pakistan did not send greetings but threats, what did Asim Munir say about India?

At the beginning of the new year, Pakistan has once again shown aggressive behavior. Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir, without naming India, has issued a stern warning saying that if Pakistan’s territorial integrity is directly or indirectly violated, a ‘concrete and decisive’ response will be given. This statement has come at a time when Pakistan itself is struggling with the serious problem of internal unrest and terrorism.

Statement given in GHQ
According to a statement issued by the Pak Army, General Asim Munir made this comment while talking to the participants of the 18th National Workshop on Balochistan organized at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. He said that Pakistan can go to any extent to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Talk of regional peace, but the tone is threatening
On the one hand, Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s commitment towards regional peace and stability, while on the other hand, in a warning manner, he said that if there is any direct or indirect violation of Pakistan’s territorial integrity, a firm and decisive response will be given.

India-backed groups blamed for Balochistan violence
The Pak Army Chief, without presenting any evidence, alleged that ‘India-backed groups’ are engaged in spreading violence and disrupting development work in Balochistan. He said that the security forces will continue to take strict action to free the province from terrorism and unrest.

India’s counterattack
Amidst this rhetoric of Pakistan, Director General of Police (DGP) of Punjab in India Gaurav Yadav has made a big allegation exposing the reality of Pakistan. He said that Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI is sending arms and ammunition to Punjab through drones.

Conspiracy to disturb Punjab
In a press conference on Wednesday, DGP Yadav said that Pakistan is trying to show Punjab as a ‘highly disturbed’ state by promoting incidents like grenade attacks. He called it a part of the proxy war waged against India. DGP said that Pakistan’s aim is to spread unrest in Punjab, that is why weapons are being sent through drones. He said that the architects of this network are sitting in North America, Europe, South-East Asia and Gulf countries.

Punjab Police is foiling every conspiracy
Gaurav Yadav clearly said that Punjab Police is foiling every conspiracy being hatched by ISI from across the border. Regarding the grenade attacks targeting police stations in Punjab, the DGP said that Pakistan wants to disturb peace in the border state, but the security agencies are fully alert and every attempt is being foiled.
