Raja raghuwanshi murder case: Devi Singh, father of his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi, arrested in Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, has given a big statement. He clearly alleged that in this whole case, Shillong police and some local people are spreading lies about their daughter with connivance. Devi Singh has demanded that the CBI should conduct a fair inquiry into the case.
Father Devi Singh accused Shillong police
Father Devi Singh says, “The marriage was fully consent. I had talked to Govind by taking a phone from a dhaba in Ghazipur, but now I am not able to talk to my daughter and the police there is making false claims.”
He further said, “If Sonam had to do something like this, why would she go for a walk? It is clearly conspired.” They allege that the Shillong police themselves are stuck in some big mess and are creating a story to escape.
Father Devi Singh said- ‘CBI investigation of the case,
Father Devi Singh said, “The entire police station there is involved in this case. Until the CBI investigation is done, I will not sit peacefully. My girl cannot do such an act.”
Sonam’s father said, “The Chief Minister of Meghalaya should also be investigated. It seems not just the negligence of the police, but a part of a big conspiracy. My appeal to Home Minister Amit Shah ji is to immediately conduct a CBI inquiry into the matter.”
Questions raised on police functioning
Questioning the functioning of the police, he said, “The police there is trapped. The police should tell which people have been arrested. The information that is being given so far is completely incomplete and confused.”
Expressing confidence in the daughter’s innocence, she said, “Our daughter is innocent. Sonam and Raja’s relationship was completely fine, both lived well. They went with Indore and never used to talk to anyone.”
