Vani’s film was going to come this year but it has been banned. The film is Abir Gulal with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. Vani has also reacted on the ban of Abir Gulal.
Vani Kapoor talked about Mandala Murdors in a special conversation with Hindustan Times. He said- In films, you have only two to three hours in which you have to make arc, it has to be installed and in that short time, everything has to be molded into layers. I was very excited to come in long format, as it helps you find yourself as an actor.

Vani Kapoor had to face criticism due to the film Abir Gulal. With this film, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan was going to comeback in Bollywood. The film was banned after the Pahalgam terror attack in April. Vani Kapoor has broken the silence when Abir Gulal was banned. He said- I do not think anyone’s intention was to hurt anyone’s feelings. The film was made to spread love but it only got hatred. It was shot at a completely different time. This entire attack is unfortunate, but the film was shot long ago, when there was no problem.
Vani further said-The makers had taken all the necessary permission. But after the attacks, all of us, the team and I, respected the sentiments of the country and understood them. We have always followed the law, it is not that someone has become a crook and has gone against the expectations of the law. Some have kept the feelings of the country first.
