The murder of four people of the same family in broad daylight in Etah has created a stir in the entire area. Unknown assailants entered the house and carried out this dreadful incident in Nagla Premi locality of Kotwali Nagar area. The deceased include 70-year-old Dr. Ganga Singh Shakya, his 20-year-old granddaughter Jyoti, 40-year-old Ratna Devi and his wife 65-year-old Shyama Devi. Shyama Devi was admitted to Etah Medical College in a critical condition, where she also died during treatment.
As soon as information about this incident was received, there was panic in the police department. Aligarh division DIG Prabhakar Chaudhary and Agra zone ADG Anupam Kulshrestha have left for Etah. Both senior officers will reach the spot and inspect the incident site and give necessary directions to the police officers. Etah SSP Shyam Narayan Singh has also left for Etah after the meeting of senior officials.
Police called dog squad
The police have called the dog squad on the spot and the forensic team is also busy collecting evidence. A huge crowd has gathered outside the house of the deceased. The police are interrogating the people nearby.

Meanwhile, it has come to light that Devansh, son of Kamal Singh, son of deceased Ganga Singh Shakya, was not present at home at the time of the incident. He is a class 5 student of Kalavati Saraswati School, Sunehri Nagar. When he returned home after leave, the police interrogated him also. Devansh is with his father Kamal Singh. Etah Police says that the matter is being investigated seriously. A team has been formed to find the reasons for the murder and the accused.
