Two old films did wonders
Harshvardhan Rane’s ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ were re-released. People’s nostalgia and love for these films was so much that people bought their tickets in large numbers.
This was the reason why Harshvardhan Rane’s ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ flopped after its last release. This time, an amazing collection of Rs 4.50 crore was made on the opening day itself. So Ranbir’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ also had an opening day collection of Rs 1.15 crore.
