Operation Sindoor: On the night of 7 May 2025, India launched an accurate and restrained air attack against terrorists in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) under ‘Operation Sindoor’. The purpose of this operation was clear- responding to the Pahalgam terror attack in India, in which 26 innocent citizens were killed. India used Rafale fighter jets and scalp cruise missiles to carry out this action, completely destroyed nine terrorist bases of Pakistan and POK. The death of more than 80 terrorists has been confirmed in this strike.
After this attack, many such videos appeared on social media in which high officials of the Pakistani Army also appeared in the people of terrorists killed in Pakistan. These scenes show that the Pakistani army was present itself to celebrate mourning for the terrorists. This made it clear once again that Pakistan’s army not only supports terrorists but also gives them protection.
Terrorist hideouts destroyed in Muridke and Bahawalpur
When India’s missiles broke out at the terrorist bases of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Lashkar-e-Taiba and Bahawalpur in Muridke, there was a stir in Pakistan. The Pakistani soldiers also reached to meet the injured terrorists in the hospital and shortly after this, anti -India slogans started to be raised outside the hospital. These incidents proved that Pakistan’s army and terrorist organizations not only work together, but also support each other in times of crisis.
Defense expert opinion on operation
Regarding this accurate operation of India, Defense Expert Sanjeev Srivastava said that it is not just a military strike but part of a dedicated national security policy. He said that Operation Sindoor is the result of tremendous coordination between the Indian Army, intelligence agencies and political leadership. He appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to lead this successful action.
He said that India had taken action against terrorism not only military but also at diplomatic, economic and digital levels. India decided to suspend the Indus Water Agreement on the very next day of the terrorist attack on 22 April and informed the international community about the role of Pakistan. After this diplomatic strike, now military strike has also been successfully completed.
India gave a clear message
India made it clear that this action was not taken against any Pakistani military establishment or common citizens, but only against terrorism. India’s policy is clear. If a country spreads terror in India, then it will have to pay its price. This warning given by India is very clear that if Pakistan has done any misconduct after this action, it can prove to be very devastating for it.

Through Operation Sindoor, India not only demolished the terrorist structures, but also clarified that now terrorism will not be replied, but will be punished. The way Pakistan’s army appeared bowing in front of the coffin of these terrorists, it is another sign for the world community that Pakistan still remains the patron of terrorism.
