At the same time, the Indian Army also retaliated strongly on this attack and captured many posts of Pakistan.

1971 war: Attack on Eastern and Western Front
The 1971 war was over the independence of Bangladesh. However, Pakistan also attacked the western region of India in this war. On 3 December 1971, Pakistan carried out airblaces on the airbase near Ambala, Amritsar, Agra, Bhatinda, Srinagar, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Jaisalmer. This war lasted for 13 days. At the same time, Bangladesh became a separate country in this war and with this this war ended.

Kargil War of 1999: Pakistan targeted many areas of Kashmir
In the Kargil war, the Pakistan Army tried to capture the high hills in the Indian region by infiltrating India. The Kargil War was fought between May to July 1999. This fight was fought in Kargil, Dras, Batalik and surrounding areas of Jammu and Kashmir. Although big cities were not attacked in this war, there were tremendous shelling and air strikes in the border areas.
