Weapons used in operation sindoor: India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ on 7 May, in which the Indian Army completely destroyed the 9 terrorist bases present in PoK. The operation was the response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, in which 26 tourists were shot and killed. Between 7 and 11 May, Pakistan carried out attacks on India with drones and missiles, after which India retaliated and destroyed 11 major airbase of Pakistan.
An interesting fact about the operation operation is that it used technology and weapons manufactured in India. India used a variety of weapons from the Akash Missile System to the D4 Anti-Dron system developed by the Akash Missile System to the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).
India used the D4 anti-drain system to avoid the attack of drones and missiles. It is a indigenously developed drone detection and neutralization system, which is used to destroy drones and missiles.
BrahMos used in Operation Sindoor
On the morning of May 10, India fired several BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles on Pakistan’s major airbases. It proved to be helpful in destroying many locations including Pakistani runways, bunkers and hangers. This malignant missile can be launched by aerial platforms such as autonomous mobile launchers, ships, submarines and even Sukhoi-30 MKI located on the ground. It is designed to work day and night in all kinds of conditions in every season.
The BrahMos Aerospace, the company that makes BrahMos, claims that the range of BrahMos is 290 km while the operation range is considered more. Its speed is 2.8 Mac, that is, two and a half times higher speed than the speed of voice. However, India has also prepared a missile of BrahMos, an extended range i.e. 450-500 km.
It is believed that no radar and weapon, missile system of the world can intercepted it, that is, once BrahMos is stained, no one can stop it like Brahmastra and falls on its goal and falls on the target.
Sukhoi-30 MKI played an important role
HAL has made Sukhoi-30 MKI aircraft of the Indian Air Force in India. These fighter jet operations were very important in vermilion. These jets can take a BrahMos missile and fly for about 11 hours by filling fuel in the air. By adding BrahMos missile to Sukhoi, India’s strength to attack has increased manifold.
Barak-8 missile was also used
The Barak-8 missile has been built by India’s DRDO and a Israeli company. This missile can also prevent enemy aircraft, drones, missiles and large attacks. Its high speed, ability to respond quickly and special radar systems make it an important part of India’s air security.
IACCS system proved to be helpful
The IACCS system proved to be very helpful in India’s air security. This system has been created by Indian Air Force and Bharat Electronics Limited. It works from a secret place under the ground and shows the full picture of what is happening in the sky by adding radar, sensor, information from the aircraft and intelligence. With this, the enemy attacks can be identified quickly and responded immediately. With the help of this, Pakistan’s missiles and drone attacks were stopped in time and there was no loss.
Akashtir given a befitting reply
Akashtir is a medium range missile that attacks from the ground to the air. It has been made by India itself and now it is with both the Indian Army and the Air Force. During Operation Sindoor, Akash-NG, the new version of Akashtir, helped to prevent many drones and missile attacks. This missice fly very fast and can kill the target ranging from 30 meters to 20 kilometers.
It has a strong explosion warhead and smart sensors. Radar, launcher and control system- everything is made in India itself. This system has now become an important part of India’s air security.
