Shashi tharoor on china: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said during an event at Washington DC that it is impossible to ignore China in the Indo-Pak struggle, as 81% of Pakistan’s military capacity comes from China. Tharoor is currently highlighting the Pakistan-Attank alliance on international forums, leading the Indian parliamentary delegation after ‘Operation Sindoor’.
China has deep penetration on the pretext of CPEC and BRI
Tharoor said that the China-Pak alliance is not limited to military cooperation only. He described the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as the biggest project of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). He said that this investment of China is making deep penetration everywhere from Pakistan’s economy to military policy.
Pakistan was equipped with China’s ‘Kill Chen’ technology
According to Tharoor, Pakistan used China’s ‘Kill Chain’ technology during the conflict, which radar, GPS, missiles and aircraft are completely synchronized. India targeted 11 Pakistani airfields and pierced the Chinese air defense system. He said that if we had not changed our strategy immediately, then such a big operation was not possible.
China also favored Pakistan in UNSC
The Congress MP said that after the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, the UNSC press release was the name of The Resistance Front, but it was removed under the pressure of Pakistan and China. Tharoor said that it shows that China stands with Pakistan even on global forums.
Dual role seen in India-China relations
Tharoor highlighted that in recent years, India has tried to normalize relations with China. Trade is also at a record level, but the recent struggle with Pakistan exposed China’s real strategy. He said, we are in favor of dialogue, but ignoring the strategic danger, it would be unavocated.
