Defense ministry on operation sindoor: The Ministry of Defense said on Wednesday (14 May 2025) that ‘Operation Sindoor’ displayed the tremendous increase in India’s defense power and technical strength, as the army made accurate attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan without crossing the border and destroyed them. The ministry said that the campaign also found concrete evidence to destroy the technology of the enemy of the Indian defense system, including PL-15 missiles of Chinese-origin and pieces of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) named ‘Yiha’ of Turkas. The Ministry of Defense said about the ‘Operation Sindoor’ that this operation is a “milestone” in a trip to India towards achieving technical self -sufficiency in military operations.
Pointing to airstrikes on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (PoK) on May 7, the Ministry said that the Indian Air Force blocked the air defense systems achieved from China and demonstrated the tremendous increase in India’s technical force by completing the campaign in just 23 minutes. The Defense Ministry said, “Long -distance rockets, quadcopters and commercial drones were recovered and identified, which showed that India’s indigenous air defense and electronic war network proved better despite Pakistan’s efforts to take advantage of the advanced weapons from abroad.”
India built an impermeable wall in Operation Sindoor
Highlighting various aspects of the operation, the Ministry of Defense said that India’s air defense systems, equipped with various systems of the Army, Navy and Air Force, worked with extraordinary coordination and built an impermeable wall, which failed most of Pakistan’s retaliation. The ministry said, “Operation emerged as a well-planned military response against the emerging form of the vermilion uncomfortable war, targeting military personnel as well as unarmed citizens.”
‘Operation Sindoor one milestone in visit to India’
The Defense Ministry said, “The terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam in April attracted attention to this change. India’s response was well thought out, accurate and strategic.” The Ministry of Defense said that apart from strategic excellence, this campaign also saw uninterrupted integration of indigenous technical systems for national security. He said that be it drone war or level air defense or electronic war, ‘Operation Sindoor’ is a milestone in a trip to India towards achieving technical self -sufficiency in military operations.
Noor Khan and Rahayamar Khan Air Force Hide targets
The ministry said that India’s aggressive attacks targeted important Pakistani Air Force Hiders – Noor Khan and Raheyar Khan with surgical accuracy. The Ministry of Defense said that other state-of-the-art weapons, including ‘suicidal drones’, were used for disastrous effects, each of which selected the high-value targets including enemy radar and missile systems.
How India failed Pakistan’s attack
The ministry said that unmanned aerial systems, electronic warfare equipment and air defense weapons were deployed to combat the dangers of the enemy. He said that the multi-level defense system thwarted the Pakistani Air Force attacks on Indian airports and logistics installations on the intervening night of 9-10 May. The Ministry of Defense said, “These systems developed from continuous government investment in the last decade proved to be strength to increase during ‘Operation Sindoor’.”
The ministry said, “These systems played an important role in ensuring that civil and military infrastructure across India should not suffer extensive damage during the enemy’s counter attacks.” The ministry said that all attacks were carried out without any damage to Indian weapons and systems, “which outlines the effectiveness of our monitoring, plan and distribution systems.” The Ministry of Defense said that these attacks became highly effective and politically unhappy with the use of modern indigenous technology from long distance drones to directed weapons.
