Now England cricketer Moin Ali revealed that when the Indo-Pak army was face to face when his parents were in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). During that time Moin Ali was playing in IPL 2025 in India.
Moin Ali said during a discussion on the Beer Bifor wicket podcast that his parents were in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir when India was taken military action. There were explosions just an hour away from his location. Ali revealed that his parents were able to ride in the only flight that came out of Pakistan that day. He thanked God that his parents returned safely.
Wanted to leave India
At the time of IPL 2025, Moin Ali’s family and his children were also in India. He said, “That was a very different experience, the situation had worsened after the attacks in Kashmir. Things started growing rapidly in a very short time and then it seemed that we are stuck between the war. However, we had no sound like the blasts of missile attacks.”
Moin Ali revealed that the day the IPL 2025 was suspended, Ali started feeling in mind last night that IPL or PSL does not matter to him, they just have to ensure the safety of themselves and their family. He only wanted to take his wife and children to a safe place.
Moin Ali is playing for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2025. He also informed that he was going to be out of the tournament due to poor health even before the tournament was suspended. In IPL 2025, he was able to score only 5 runs in 6 matches and took 6 wickets in bowling.
