Tilak Verma’s strong innings became the key for victory
India had got a target of 147 runs but the team stumbled due to the initial tremors. Abhishek Sharma (5), Shubman Gill (12) and captain Suryakumar Yadav (1) were dismissed for the score of 20 runs. After this, Tilak Verma and Sanju Samson handled the innings. Tilak Verma scored an unbeaten 69 off 53 balls, while Samson added 24 runs off 21 balls to form a significant partnership of 57 runs for the fourth wicket.
