Now the situation is that the booking of travel companies for Türkiye and Azerbaijan, considered one of the favorite places of the people as Holiday Destination, is being canceled.
Indians do not want to go to Türkiye and Azerbaijan
According to the TOI report, the travel company Cox and Kings said that they have canceled all their bookings for Azerbaijan, Turki and Uzbekistan. Similarly, Hari Ganapathi, co-founder of Picayoratral, said, “We have decided to stop all new bookings for Turki and Azerbaijan. This is a stand against the policies of conflict with the national interests of India. ”
Customers seeking refunds from travel companies
Govind Gaur, CEO and co-founder of Wonderon, says that he too has stopped all his new bookings. He further says, as far as the booking already made, Indians say that they do not want to go there and the customers are asking for their refund. He also informed that the booking for Azerbaijan and Türkiye was expected to fall from India to more than 50 percent.
Pakistan had to show support
According to a report by Moneycontrol, Easymytrip founder and president Nishant Pitti has also advised people to avoid traveling to Turkey and Azerbaijan. He says that after Türkiye and Azerbaijan showed support to Pakistan, they strongly advise that only go to these countries when it is not very important.
Mumbai based travel residence brand Go Homestage has also finished its partnership with Turkish Airlines. D2C Travel Technology firm Wonderon has also stopped its booking for both countries. From the tourism point of view, India is one of the largest markets for these two countries.
