Operation Sindoor: When the body of Surendra Kumar, who was martyred for the country during Operation Sindoor, was taken for a final farewell to Mehradasi village in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, his wife started crying bitterly. His wife Sudh-Budh was seen lost amid the slogans of ‘Surendra Kumar Amar Rahe’, ‘Surendra Kumar Zindabad’. After this she screamed- ‘I love you man … please get up.’ Its video is now becoming increasingly viral on social media.
Surendra Kumar was posted as Medical Assistant Sergeant at 39 Vind Air Base. Surendra Kumar was killed in the Pakistan attack in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday (May 10, 2025). On Sunday, his body was brought to his village Mehradasi for the last rites, where his seven -year -old son Daksha offered fire.

Many big leaders arrived to bid farewell to martyr Surendra Kumar
Many big leaders had arrived to give a final farewell to martyr Surendra Kumar, including Rajasthan Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa, Cabinet Minister Avinash Galata, Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore. The state government assured that they are standing with the martyr’s family. During this, a assistance of five lakh rupees was also given.
Ceasefire on the evening of May 10
A ceasefire agreement was signed between India and Pakistan on the evening of 10 May. On the midnight of 6 and 7 May, when India carried out Operation Sindoor, Pakistan was shocked and tried to target 26 cities including Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan for three days and attacked with drone-wishes, but India did not let its mansube succeed. The army told the press conference that common citizens were targeted in the attack by Pakistan, but the army gave a befitting reply. The army has caused great damage to Pakistan.
