After the military attacks conducted by India in Pakistan, there is a competition to apply for the film title related to ‘Operation Sindoor’ in Bollywood. Film makers like actors John Abraham, Sunil Shetty, Aditya Dhar have registered to make a film on it. More than 50 applications have been given in just two days to make a film on this mission.
Applications for registration include ‘Operation Sindoor’, ‘Mission Sindoor’ and ‘Sindoor: The Revenge’ and other titles.
Let us tell you that the Indian armed forces took revenge for the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 in Jammu and Kashmir late on Tuesday night. Under the ‘Operation Sindoor’, missile attacks on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir, including Jaish-e-Mohammed’s stronghold Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base Muridke.
‘Operation Sindoor’ is still going on. Meanwhile, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA), Film and Television Producers Council (IFTPC) and Western India Film Producers Association (WIFPA) have received many applications for registration of film title related to ‘Operation Sindoor’.
IMPPA Secretary Anil Nagrath said, ‘We have received applications for more than 30 titles. This number can reach 50-60. Most people are applying for the names ‘Operation Sindoor’ and ‘Mission Sindoor’.
He told that a person can apply for more than one title, but the one who applies first gets the title.
Producers and filmmakers are planning to make a film on this subject by registering these titles, as it is a matter of pride for India.
Nagrath said that in the past he has received applications for Kargil, Uri, Kumbh and other titles.
At present, the titles for which applications are being applied include ‘Sindoor of Hindustan’, ‘Mission Operation Sindoor’ and ‘Sindoor Ka Badla’. Applications have also been received for ‘Pahalgam: The Terror Attack’, ‘Pahalgam Attack’ and other titles in the name of Pahalgam.
According to sources, Aditya Dhar, who directed the 2019 film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ based on the 2016 Uri attack and India’s counter-attacks, along with actor Sunil Shetty, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, Vivek Agnihotri, Ashok Pandit, production banner T-series are among those who have applied for the above mentioned titles.
