Defense Minister Rajnath Singh attended an event held on Tuesday (June 10, 2025) in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. In this, he targeted Pakistan fiercely. The Defense Minister said that in Pahalgam, terrorists killed religion by asking religion, but we killed by asking not religion.
Regarding action against terrorism, Rajnath Singh said that if someone has attacked Jaish’s headquarters for the first time, we have done it. We have made the biggest attack against terrorism. When Jammu and Kashmir started shining due to the efforts of the Modi government, our neighbor did not like it.
Addressing the program, Rajnath Singh said, ‘Now the time has come to be cautious not only at the level of governments but also at the level of public. Terrorism is a threat to democracy, terrorism is a distorted mindset, a hindrance in the path of progress. Terrorism cannot be left to die. A permanent solution to terrorism is necessary. There is no revolution but only waste from the womb of terrorism.
‘Pakistan is called Father of Terrorism’
The Defense Minister said that India and Pakistan became free at one time, but today India is called Mother of Democracy. At the same time, Pakistan is called Father of Terrorism. He said that whatever funding Pakistan gets, part of it goes to terrorism. Pakistan is a nursery of terrorism.
Rajnath Singh raised questions on UN’s decision
He said that Pakistan has been made the vice -president of the counter terror. It is unfortunate, the international community should take cognizance of this. This is the country where people like Hafiz Saeed spew poison. They are involved in the death of terrorists. This is the ridicule of a global fight against terrorism. The international community should think on this.
‘Defense budget will be carried forward in the fight against terrorism’
Rajnath Singh gave advice to Pakistan and said that we had already told him that if you are not able to fight against terrorism, then we are ready to help. We are involved in the fight against terrorism on this side of the border and on the other side. We have made a new strategy against terrorism and our defense budget is going to move forward.
