Regarding the increased tension in India Pakistan after Operation Sindoor, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has said that both countries were far from nuclear conflict during recent clashes. He said that the Indian side had carried out accurate attacks on terrorist bases only on the land of Pakistan without any provocation.
The Foreign Minister said in an interview to Frankfurter Algemine Tsitung newspaper during a recent visit to Germany that terrorism is very open business in Pakistan and the talk of nuclear problem arising due to conflict between the two countries only promotes terrible activities like terrorism.
‘We were very far away from the nuclear struggle’
Responding to the question asked about the nuclear struggle of India and Pakistan being close to the nuclear struggle, S Jaishankar said that we were very, far away from it. Our target was just terrorist hideouts, which were very thoughtful steps and did not need to increase them.
‘It bothers me a lot’
S Jaishankar visited the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany last week, where he gave information about India’s attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan. He said that under no circumstances did the nuclear level reach. This is a story that whatever happens in our part of the world, it directly leads to a nuclear problem. It bothers me very much because it promotes terrible activities like terrorism.
‘Pakistanis’ names in the list of UN Security Council’
He said that those who are not blind can clearly see that terrorist organizations are being run openly from the cities and towns of Pakistan. In the list of UN Security Council, most Pakistani terrorists and their bases are the names and these are the same places we have targeted. He insisted that terrorism is an open business in Pakistan. This is a business whose funding, support and running it is Pakistan and their army.
