What warning did Rajnath Singh and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi give to Pakistan?
On October 2, on the day of Dussehra, Rajnath Singh had given a strict message to Pakistan that if any attempt was made to commit any attack on Sir Creek, the history and geography of Pakistan would be changed. Rajnath Singh had given this warning to Pakistan while addressing the soldiers at a military base in Bhuj, Gujarat.
Rajnath Singh had said, ‘India has tried many times to resolve the Sir Creek issue through talks, but Pakistan’s intentions are not clear. Its intentions are clearly evident from the recent expansion of its infrastructure near Sir Creek. He said that any audacity of Pakistan in Sir Creek sector will be given a decisive reply and this reply will be so strong that it can change both the history and geography of Pakistan.
The Defense Minister had said that in the 1965 war, the Indian Army had shown that it was capable of reaching Lahore, therefore in 2025 it should remember that one of the routes to Karachi passes through this creek. Sir Creek is a 96 km long marshland, located between Gujarat, India and Sindh province of Pakistan.
On October 3, General Upendra Dwivedi had also warned Pakistan, which nurtures terrorism, and said that if it does not desist from its activities, its name and trace will be wiped off the world map.
