Operation Sindoor Terrorists Yusuf Azhar Abdul Malik Rauf Mudasir Ahmed IC 814 Hijack and Pulwama Blast Killed Air Strike in Pakistan

Operation Sindoor: India also avenged the Pahalgam terrorist attack and other attacks in the country by air strike in Pakistan. The Indian Army took this action under Operation Sindoor. DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai gave several information about the operation during the press befing on Sunday (May 11, 2025).

He said that in the air strikes conducted in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir, more than 100 terrorists were killed in attacks on 9 terrorist bases, including big terrorists like Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf and Mudasir Ahmed. Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai said that these terrorists were also involved in the kidnapping and Pulwama blast of the IC-814 plane. Also told that Murid’s center of Lashkar-e-Taiba, which produced terrorists like Ajmal Kasab and David Headley, has also been harmed.

At the same time, Abdul Malik Rauf was involved in the IC-814 hijacking as well as the plot of Pulwama attack. He said that the purpose of the air strike was to punish the conspirators of terrorist attacks and destroy their terrorist structure, which we successfully carried out.

India had to release Masood Azhar in 1999

Mohammad Yusuf Azhar was also known as Ustad ji and Ghosi Saheb. Azhar was the chief commander of Jaish -e -Mohammed and he was the brother -in -law of Maulana Masdu Azhar. He used to handle arms training for Jaish -e -Mohammed. Joseph was also involved in the IC-814 plane Kandahar Hijack case, due to which India had to release Masood Azhar in 1999.
