Supreme Court of India has released recruitment for the posts of Assistant Editor, Assistant Director, Senior Court Assistant and Assistant Librarian. How many posts will be recruited
In this recruitment, a total of 22 posts will be recruited which includes 5 posts of Assistant Editor, 1 post of Assistant Director, 2 posts of Senior Court Assistant and 14 posts of Assistant Librarian. Candidates selected on all the posts will be provided salary and allowances as per government rules.
What qualification is required?
Different qualifications have been kept for different posts in Supreme Court Recruitment. To become an Assistant Editor, the candidate must have a law degree from a university recognized by the Bar Council or he must be a member of the High Court/English Bar. For the post of Assistant Director, it is necessary to have a first class post graduation degree in Museology with experience in museum technology, Indian antiquities and publishing work. For the post of Senior Court Assistant, it is mandatory for the candidate to have a post graduation degree in Museology with minimum 55% marks. Whereas, to become Assistant Librarian, the candidate must have a degree in Library Science and Computer Application Diploma recognized by AICTE/DOEACC.
age limit
The age limit in Supreme Court recruitment is different according to the post. For the post of Assistant Editor and Assistant Director, the age of the candidate should be between 30 to 40 years, whereas for Senior Court Assistant the maximum age has been fixed at 35 years. The maximum age for the post of Assistant Librarian is 30 years. According to government rules, reserved categories will also get age relaxation.
How much will the application fee cost?
Application Fee: General and OBC category candidates will have to pay Rs 1,500, whereas for SC, ST, Divyang, Ex-Servicemen and Freedom Fighter category candidates, this fee is Rs 750.
How much salary will you get?
Candidates recruited in the Supreme Court will be given an attractive salary package. The starting basic pay for Assistant Editor (Level 12) will be Rs 78,800, while the pay for Assistant Director (Level 11) has been fixed at Rs 67,700. Senior Court Assistant and Assistant Librarian (Level 8) will get a salary of Rs 47,600. Apart from this, various allowances will also be provided as per government rules, which will further increase the total in-hand salary.
