If you are thinking of studying in a renowned university after 12th or graduation, then there is big news for you. AMU has started the process of admission in various UG and PG programs for the new academic session 2026-27. Students can now apply for the course of their choice. Different admission procedures have been decided for different courses.
In which courses admission is available?
In AMU, there is an opportunity to study in many fields like Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Agriculture, Theology and Fine Arts. This time also the university has invited applications for many undergraduate and postgraduate courses. For students who are from the science stream, seats are available in different subjects of B.Sc (Hons). Many special courses have also been kept for Arts and Humanities students. The eligibility for each course is different, so please check the eligibility before filling the form.
B.Ed will be done through NCET. Admission in integrated course
There is good news for the students who are dreaming of becoming teachers. B.A., B.Ed. And B.Sc., B.Ed. For example, admission to four-year integrated courses will be done through NCET 2026. Only students who have passed 12th and are interested in becoming teachers can apply for these courses. NCET score will decide the merit.
Admission will also be done through AMU’s own entrance exam.
There are some courses in which the university will conduct its own entrance examination for admission. Students wishing to study in these subjects B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics, B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry, B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics, B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology, B.Sc. (Hons.) Industrial Chemistry will have to appear in the entrance test of AMU. Merit list will be released on the basis of examination and seats will be allotted accordingly.
It has been told by the university that the entrance examination for different courses will be conducted on different dates. That means, the exam date of the course for which you have applied may be different. Therefore, students are advised to keep checking the exam date related to their course from time to time on the official website.

The application fee has also been decided according to the course. Fees for different programs have been kept from Rs 750 to Rs 1,050. While applying, the fee will have to be deposited through online mode. The most important thing is that students can apply for more than one course through the same application form. That is, if a student is interested in different subjects, then he will not need to fill a separate form for each course.

- Select the right course.
- Choose the mode of admission (CUET/NCET/AMU Test) carefully.
- Scan and upload the necessary documents.
- Submit the application fee on time.
- Avoid any kind of mistake while filling the form, as the chance for correction later may be limited.
