There is big news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released the posts of lecturer. Through this recruitment, a total of 808 posts of lecturers will be filled in various educational institutions of the state.
The online application process for lecturer posts will start from December 31. Interested candidates can apply till 20 January 2026. Apart from this, the Commission has also given a chance for correction to those candidates who make any mistake while filling the application form. Candidates will get time from 28 January to 6 February 2026 to make corrections in the online form.
How much salary?
Candidates selected for the post of lecturer will be given good salary. According to the Commission, the selected candidates will get a salary ranging from Rs 47,600 to Rs 1,51,100 every month. Along with this, other allowances and facilities will also be given as per government rules.
What will be the age limit?
To apply for lecturer posts, the minimum age of the candidates has been fixed at 21 years and maximum age at 42 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class candidates of Uttarakhand state will get relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit. More than this number of candidates will be able to participate in this recruitment.
Educational qualification
Talking about educational qualification, for lecturer posts, the candidate must have graduation, post graduation or diploma from a recognized institute in India. Apart from this, the candidate should also have other necessary qualifications related to the concerned subject. The Commission has advised the candidates to read the notification carefully before applying, so that they do not face any problem.
Application process completely online
UKPSC has kept the application process for lecturer recruitment completely online, so that it becomes easier for the candidates. To apply, candidates will have to visit the official website of the Commission. By visiting the website, candidates will first register themselves and then will be able to fill the application form.
To apply online, candidates should first visit psc.uk.gov.in or ukpsc.net.in website. After this click on “How to Apply” link given on the homepage. Here candidates will get complete information related to registration. During registration, candidates will have to enter their mobile number and other important information.

It is often seen that candidates make some mistakes while applying in a hurry. Keeping this in mind, UKPSC has also provided the facility of form correction. Candidates will be able to make corrections in their application form between 28 January to 6 February 2026. This facility is of great relief to the candidates.
