Waqf Bill News: After passing the Waqf Amendment Bill from Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, the voices of protest in JDU are intensifying. Many Muslim leaders have resigned from the party. At the same time, many JDU leaders have criticized the party’s stand on the Waqf Bill. In this episode, the party’s MLC Khalid Anwar’s response has come. He said that Muslim society is scared. He said that the purpose for which the Waqf Bill was brought, the central government is not ready to believe the things that the central government had told. How to overcome the fear of Muslim society, it is the responsibility of our and the central government. Our party supported this bill at the center because we are allies, the government is ours, but the stake holders are not satisfied.
Nitish Kumar is a secular leader- Khalid Anwar
Khalid Anwar said that the government is not run so that a section should be angered, hatred should be spread in the society. The central government should try and satisfy allies. During this, he said that JDU is a secular party and Nitish Kumar is a secular leader.
‘Waqf should improve a lot’
On the resignation of Muslim leaders, he said that they are angry with the bill. The displeasure of these leaders is not with JDU or Nitish Kumar but from the bill. If this bill is for Muslim society, then they should be justice. There should be a lot of improvement in the Waqf, which has passed the bill, there is a drastic step.
