Out of the tournament after a stormy innings! Why will Vaibhav Suryavanshi not play in Vijay Hazare Trophy?

In the current season of Vijay Hazare Trophy, young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi from Bihar created such a storm in his very first match that the entire cricket world started talking about him. In the match played against Arunachal Pradesh, Vaibhav played an explosive inning of 190 runs in just 84 balls and did not let the bowlers run. This innings brought him into the limelight overnight. However, soon after this the news came that Vaibhav would no longer be seen in this tournament.

Why was Vaibhav Suryavanshi out of Vijay Hazare Trophy?

Many people thought that perhaps there might be some problem related to injury or team selection, but the real reason is much more special than this. Actually, on 26th December, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been invited to a national level felicitation ceremony in Delhi. He has been selected for the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award, which is considered one of the most prestigious children’s awards in the country. This ceremony will be organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where President Draupadi Murmu will honor the children. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also meet the selected children.

Vaibhav has already left for Delhi for this special occasion. This is the reason why he will not be a part of the team in Bihar’s second match against Manipur in the Plate Group on 26th December. Along with shining on the cricket field, getting respect on the national stage is a matter of pride for any young player, and this moment is very special for Vaibhav too.

Next big challenge with Under-19 team

Vaibhav Suryavanshi will not get a chance to rest after the awards ceremony in Delhi. He has to join the Indian Under-19 team directly. Team India will fly to South Africa on December 30, where a three-match ODI series will be played. This series will run from 4 to 9 January.

After this, the Indian Under-19 team will participate in the Under-19 World Cup starting from January 15. India’s first match will be played against America in Bulawayo. In such a situation, it is clear that due to the responsibilities of the national team, Vaibhav will not be able to play further for Bihar in Vijay Hazare Trophy.
