Jammu kashmir terror attack: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh condemned the Pahalgam terror attack. He assured the countrymen that the government would take every necessary steps. The Defense Minister said, “Terrorists committed a cowardly act by targeting a particular religion in Pahalgam, in which many innocent people lost their lives. I want to assure the countrymen that the government will take every important steps. We will not only reach the conspirators of this act, but will also reach the people behind the screen.
The country lost many innocents- Rajnath Singh
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, “Our country has lost many innocent citizens in a cowardly attack on behalf of terrorists. With this inhuman act, we are all deep mourning and pain. First of all I express my deepest condolences to all those families who have lost their loved ones. I pray to God for the peace of the departed souls.”
‘India cannot be intimidated’
The Defense Minister said, “We have a zero tolerance policy against terrorism. One citizen of India is united against this cowardly act. India cannot be intimidated. I assure the countrymen that the Government of India will take every step in view of the incident which will be necessary and suitable.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday (23 April 2025) after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Chief Defense President General Anil Chauhan, Chief of the three armies, Defense Secretary and Director General of Military Campaign of Army were present in this meeting. The Defense Minister directed the armed forces to expedite the anti -terrorism operations.
CCS meeting will be held under the chairmanship of PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also pledged that the people involved in the attack will not be spared and they will be brought to the box of justice. There will be a meeting of CCS at 6 pm under the chairmanship of PM Modi in Delhi regarding Pahalgam attack. Many top officials including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be present.
