Kashmir terror attack: The Delhi government has set a time-limit for such Pakistani citizens to exit the national capital on 26 to 29 April, whose visa has been suspended. Home Minister Ashish Sood appealed to all the citizens to help in identifying Pakistani citizens who have been over time in the national capital and immediately inform the nearest police station.

In following the decision of the Government of India to suspend the Visa service for Pakistani citizens, all the existing valid visas (long-term visas-LTVs and diplomat and official visas) issued to Pakistanis, have been canceled with immediate effect. In this regard, the deadline for Pakistani citizens to go out of India has been scheduled from 26 April to 29 April. Also, no new visa will be issued to Pakistani citizens from now on.

Advice to identify Pakistani citizens

The Delhi government has clearly decided the security concerns arising out of the illegal time of Pakistani citizens in the national capital for more than the scheduled time. The Home Department of GNCTD has already advised the Delhi Police to identify all the Pakistani citizens who are living in Delhi for more than the scheduled time.

Appeal to tell police about Pakistani citizens

A press note was also issued by the Home Department of Delhi Government. Minister Ashish Sood appealed to all the residents of Delhi to cooperate with the authorities in this important national duty to identify all Pakistani citizens living illegally in Delhi. He appealed to all the residents of Delhi to tell the nearest police station without any delay, when they get any relevant information about any suspected Pakistani citizen living illegally in the capital.
