Pahalgam Terror Attack Former Foreign SECERATE VIVEK KATJU SLAMS Abdul Basit Pakistani Former High Commissioner

Former Foreign Ministry Secretary Vivek Katju has fiercely pronounced Abdul Basit, former Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs, Abdul Basit, on calling the barbaric terror attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir as ‘Falls Flag Operation’. He has said that those who talk such things are mentally ill and Abdul Basit should apologize for using such words. Abdul Basit has alleged that India’s Deep State is involved in the Pahalgam attack and the allegations being made on Pakistan are baseless. He repeatedly said that India should present evidence.

In a TV debate, Abdul Basit said that India showed haste in the case of Mumbai attacks and hanged Ajmal Kasab in 2012. Even Pakistan was not given a chance to cross examination. He also mentioned Uri and Pulwama and said that even then India did not provide any evidence. Now in Pahalgam too, the Indian media immediately started accusing Pakistan, while no evidence has been revealed yet.

What did Abdul Basit say by referring to the Uri attack?
Abdul Basit said that when the Pathankot of January 22, 2016 and the Uri attack of September 2016, I was in India. Pakistan had lodged an FIR on the basis of information of the National Security Advisor and the Government of India, but when our Team reached India, it was not even allowed to do the cross examination.

He said that he did not allow the SP to inquire that his car was hijacked and his car was used to go to Pathankot Airbase. He said that as soon as Pakistan’s Special Investigation Team reached India, India immediately started the demand for reciperook visit. I had also said at that time that in such cases, such demands cannot be made, while the crime scene was in India itself.

‘India gives evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in Pahalgam attack’, said Abdul Basit
Abdul Basit demanded the proof of the Pahalgam attack, saying, ‘I think if India has strong evidence, then it should be placed in front of Pakistan and if it does not do so, then it should be investigated globally. I do not understand why India is holding back from accepting this, while it is clear that it does not have anything that proves that Pakistan was involved in the attack.

On these claims of Abdul Basit, Vivek Katju fiercely narrated him. Vivek Katju said, ‘For the last 35 years, the whole world has been seeing how Pakistan is involved in terrorism. The LOC, International Border and attacks in many parts of India are witness to this. This is not a secret. Why Pakistan is in the FATF list because it does Terror funding.

Vivek Katju narrated a lot to Abdul Basit
Vivek Katju said that Pakistan has been raising such organizations on its land and the interesting thing is that the organizations that they have sheltered have now picked up guns against its own states. He said that Pakistan presents itself as a victim of terrorism, while he is a criminal himself, to promote terrorism.

Vivek Katju said, ‘The truth is that the Pakistani Army has made terrorism a part of its strategic principle. So when my Pakistani friends are asking for evidence, I will tell them that I do not need to give proof. For 35 years, not only India, the whole world has been looking at the antics of Pakistan how it has promoted terrorism.

‘Such bitterness in Abdul Basit’, Vivek Katju said
Vivek Katju said that whoever is calling this barbaric terror attack a ‘Falls Flag Operation’, he is mentally ill, whoever repeats it again and again, he is mentally sick. I regret that Abdul Basit has lived on such a big way in Pakistan’s foreign service and there has been so much bitterness in him, which was not there before.

Vivek Katju said, ‘Abdul Basit should introspect on talking like Falls Flag Operation and apologize for this. I have never heard such words from the mouth of such senior diplomat. Now I am not surprised at the thinking of the Pakistani PM that he refused him after offering the Foreign Secretary.
