Pahalgam Terror Attack Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad asif seeks interactive probe

Pak defense minister on pahalgam terror attack: Pakistan, facing criticisms after the tough steps taken by India after the Pahalgam terror attack, has once again denied its role in the attack in Jammu and Kashmir and killing 26 people.

Pakistan Defense Minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif told the New York Times that Islamabad is ready to cooperate in any international investigation.

India took many big steps

India has taken strict steps against Pakistan. These include taking the Pakistani military officer out of the country, preventing the Indus Water Treaty and immediate closure of the attic border. India has asked all the Pakistanis coming to India from the attic border to leave the country by May 1.

Pakistan’s Defense Minister made this big claim

Asif said that India has used the situation after the terrorist attack to stop the Indus Water Treaty and for its domestic political gains. He also alleged that India took steps like punishing Pakistan without any evidence and investigation. Talking to the New York Times, Asif said, “We do not want war because if this happens then it can become a big threat to the whole area.”

Lashkar-e-Taiba has become inactive

In an interview to the New York Times, Asif claimed that Lashkar-e-Taiba has now become inactive and has no strength to plan or carry out any attack from Pakistan-occupied area.

However, in an interview to Sky News, Asif admitted that Pakistan has given support, training and funding to terrorist organizations first. He said that he had done this work for western countries, such as America and Britain and described it as a dirty work.

Sky News reporter Hakim asked, “Do you believe that Pakistan has a long history of support, training and funding to terrorists?” In response, Asif said, “You know that we have done this dirty work for about 30 years for Western countries like America and Britain.”
