A horrific road accident occurred on Monday (August 11) in Khed taluka in Pune, Maharashtra. While going to Kundeshwar Darshan here, a pickup filled with devotees overturned. Seven people lost their lives in this painful accident.
On the occasion of the third Monday of the month of Shravan, the accident occurred around 1:15 pm on the intervening of Sunday-Monday. 25 to 30 women devotees were injured in this accident.
Rotated turn pickup
The pickup of female devotees overturned at a curved turn while climbing the jeep ghat. 25 to 30 women devotees were seriously injured due to overturning 5 to 6 times, while 7 women devotees have lost their lives in it.
