Pak vs Wi 3rd ODI: Shai Hope made this big record by scoring a century, Pakistan’s nose

West Indies captain Shai Hope has achieved great achievement by scoring an unbeaten century in the third ODI against Pakistan. Shai Hope has become the third player to score 18 centuries in ODI format from West Indies. He is present in third place in terms of most centuries.

Chris Gayle and Brian Lara are named above Shai Hope in the list of West Indies players who have scored the most ODI centuries. Gayle scored 25 centuries in 298 matches, while Bryan Lara scored 19 centuries in 295 matches.

Shai Hope played this century innings when the West Indies needed it very much. Pakistan had won the first match of the series of three matches, after which the West Indies won the next match and equaled 1-1 in the series. In such a situation, the third and final match became decisive.

The West Indies team had lost three wickets for just 68 runs after losing the toss in Trinidad. From here, Shai Hope handled the team while playing captaincy innings.

Shai Hope added 45 runs for the third wicket with Sherfen Rutherford (15). At the same time, he shared an unwavering 110 -run partnership with Justin Greaves and took the West Indies innings to a score of 294/6.

Shai Hope completed his century in 83 balls. This was the 18th century of his ODI career, while this was his second ODI century against Pakistan.

Shai Hope faced 94 balls in this innings, scoring 120 runs with five sixes and 10 fours, while Greves remained unbeaten on 43 runs in 24 balls. For Pakistan, Nasim Shah and Abrar Ahmed hunted two each. Apart from these, Saim Ayub and Mohammad Nawaz took one wicket each.
